Certainly every one have faced this problem that they searched a domain name and it was available however next time when you went, to your surprise that is taken exactly one or two days after you first searched.
It is well known now that some sites are selling the domains you search with their tools ("domain sniffing"), which means if you run a search for a potentially valuable name and don't register your name quickly, someone else will. We've experienced this with goDaddy registrar and some others.
